"We started our esports program last year... students ranged from star football players to quiet, reserved kids.  One student in particular really set forth the 'why' to esports.  He is a special needs student that had some behavioral issues... I encouraged this student to give esports a try. From this point on, I saw a huge change in him.  He made new friends, smiled more and was eager to be a part of it.  He stayed after school for practices and told our principal to come watch him play.  What an immense difference this program made for him.  If esports can do this for one kid, it is completely worth it."
